The Ca’ d’Oro, an ancient patrician residence of the Xvth century, gathers the art collection which Baron Giorgio Franchetti, who bought the building in 1894, gave to the State.
In this house, decorated in Venetian Gothic style, visitors can admire paintings of the Venetian school among which the famous San Sebastiano by Andrea Mantegna, works of the Tuscan and the Flemish school, wonderful bronze and Renaissance statues.
