Great introduction to the evolution of architecture in Venice - This walk caters for those with little formal knowledge of architecture and art, yet who are keen to become fully immersed in the aesthetic beauty of Venice. Through visiting areas of architectural and artistic richness, such as the interior of the huge Gothic church of San Giovanni & Paolo with the largest stained glass window in Venice, the jewel box exterior of Church of the Miracoli, and then through narrow alleyways to the area where Marco Polo lived, our guide will give you a clear understanding of the evolution of a broad range of artistic and architectural images.
