THE TOUR ITINERARY
This tour is seen as a brief journey to the discovery of Jacopo Robusti, better known as Tintoretto, probably the mayor exponent of the Venetian school and probably the last great painter of the Italian Renaissance. Several of his works of art are exposed at the Accademia gallery in Venice, where the best works of art from Venice and its region are gathered, mainly related to the period that goes from 13th to 18th century. Among the mayor artists represented we find Giorgione, Giovanni Bellini, Vittore Carpaccio, Tiziano and of course Tintoretto.
The first part of the tour itinerary considers a 20 minutes introduction outside the gallery, in order to expose the building where the gallery is hosted: the building complex of the prestigious Great School of Santa Maria della Carità. The visit continues inside the Gallery for a better knowledge of Tintoretto’s works that are exposed inside the museum. The guide will also linger on the main works of art of other famous painters exposed at the Accademia.
CHILDREN: Children under 6 years old do not have to be signalled in the booking form and they join the tour for free. No other reductions are considered.
