THE DOGE'S PALACE TOUR IN VENICE
The Doge’s Palace has represented the centre of the political power in Venice for centuries. In its wonderful hall decorated with stuccoworks and paintings the Doge and his council guided a republic which had a millenial history. You will live it again with a touristic guide which will show and explain you the hall of the power, so that you will delve into a peculiar historical context: Middle Ages in Europe and the following centuries. You will be surprised by the richness of details of the golden stair, the realism of the paintings with which many artists decorated the palace, you will experience the anguish of the prisoners walking by the Ponte dei Sospiri and entering the venetian’s prisons, where you will see how the prisoners of the serenissima republic lived. LANGUAGE: English. In low season, the morning tour can be run in two languages.

PRICE: 42,00 euro pp
MEETING POINT: under the Clock Tower.
CHILDREN: children under 6 are free. No other reductions are available.
Included in price: Doge's Palace entrance ticket(no line), headphones for groups over 10 people. The ticket is also valid to visit the Correr museum, the Biblioteca Marciana and the National Archaelogical museum. Participants can visit the other museums without guided once the tour is over.
